North Florida ABC Eagle Award
The St. Joe Company, a valued repeat client, is developing a Town Center at The Watersound Origins community in Walton County, Florida. White Construction Company built the first phase of the center, featuring a Retail Building and an outdoor Pavilion.
The two-story retail building was constructed on shallow foundations of structural steel and concrete slabs with CMU stairwells and one elevator. The exterior is stucco with aluminum storefront and a curtain wall window system. The building features exposed wood trusses and columns.
The 9,808 sf Pavilion will be used for Farmer’s Markets and other events.
Future plans include interior finishes within the building to create shopping and dining venues along with second-floor office space and enhancements in the open green spaces.
