White Construction collaborated with the design team during preconstruction to work through the challenges of a unique site—the side of an existing solid limestone hill. Three levels of parking are located below the first office floor, thus requiring excavation of more than 100,000 cubic yards of rock. The result? A stunning sheer rock wall, located adjacent to the separate parking garage, which received a structurally engineered rock wall using 1.5 ton boulders. The landscape design took advantage of this natural feature by providing a six-story atrium lobby, which opens from the lower parking garage to the upper office floors and has a breathtaking view of the grotto area.
