With more than 25 years of experience in the Human Resources and Payroll industry, 23 of them with White Construction, Tess knows the importance of taking care of employees in any company. “White Construction is like family to me, and I want every employee to feel like a part of this family.”, says Tess. After graduating from Delta State University, Tess went to work as an HR Assistant and knew straight away that this type of work was her calling. She immediately started taking Dale Carnegie and Human Relations courses on how to successfully manage people and how to deal with difficult situations in the workplace environment. Her HR experience extends well beyond various types of companies, ranging from insurance to the food industry and now construction. Tess says, “I have met and worked with so many different types of people in my career, but one thing stays the same, everyone wants to be treated with respect and to feel like they are part of a wonderful and successful team. I will always strive to make that happen.” When not working, Tess and her husband of 21 years enjoy traveling, riding their Harley, and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
